Deadly Fire Collide With Woman’s Car


On Thursday afternoon, two Nassau County police officers were heading north while trying to respond to a fire on Broadway in Massapequa when they collided with a woman’s Camry. The cause of the fire is under investigation. They jumped the curb and hit a male pedestrian, plowing into a hair salon at the corner of Broadway and New York Avenue.

The two officers and a 63-year-old woman were taken to hospitals and are expected to be okay. The male pedestrian, however, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
