Worker crushed to death by own van


A construction worker got out of his van in Central Park at around 6:40 AM (he was near East Drive and East 74th Street) to check on a mechancal issue near Loeb’s Boathouse. While he was looking at the issue, his van rolled down an incline hitting him and subsequently crushing and killing him.

The company that owns the van is based in Mineola and could not be reached for comment as stated by the NY Post.
