Firetruck collides with SUV


At approximatley 12:30pm on Sunday afternoon, a firetruck who was reporting to a smaqll heater fire, collided with a gray SUV in Brooklyn, on the corner of New York and Snyder Avenues. There were 5 reported injuries, including one to a nine year old girl by the scene of the accident. Of those 5 injuries, only 2 were considered serious. There were also reports of one of the firefighters being injured in the crash as well.

The firetruck was called to respond to a fire, however it is not known if they were on their way to the call or on their way back from the call. Both the Fire Department and the Police’s COllision Investigative Squad are looking into the accident.
